Hannah Ryan, CRNP, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Penn Medicine, affiliated with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She plays a key role in the Penn Neurogastroenterology and Motility Program, focusing on diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal motility disorders.

Hannah earned her nursing degree from La Salle University and holds board certification in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, achieved in 2016. Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroparesis, constipation, fecal incontinence, and other motility-related disorders. She is also involved in clinical research initiatives, such as studies on cognitive behavioral therapy for functional gastrointestinal diseases.
